Last Shoe Post for Today

These shoes also always get random compliments too :)

They're Santini I got them in Melbourne.

They're quite high too, which I think is why I like my men tall ;)

xoxo

Black & Gold Slingbacks

These are a fairly recent purchase, they are Scooter, they weren't ridiculously expensive and they have the cutest sole.

Roses! :)

Haha, I spent like 2 minutes trying to decide if I thought they were tacky or not and then I realised that I loved them anyway!

They are quite high but that just gives you a good 'wiggle in your walk' hehe.

I have to admit these are on low rotation in my shoe collection purely because of their height and that they can be a liiiiittle bit tacky *blushes* But I've worn them clubbing a bit where the roses on the souls of my shoes pale in comparison to the amount of flesh on show out there :S

Thanks to those girls for giving me an arena for these shoes ;)

xoxo

Pink Chinese Laundry Slip Ons

These pink Chinese Laundry heels were an influenced purchase :) I was shopping with a girlfriend of mine who is 6 foot tall and doesn't wear/feel comfortable in heels. So I was trying them on, umming and arring and she was like 'get them, get them for me, I think they're gorgeous but I would never wear them'.
So being the easily lead woman that I am, I did :) And I've never regretted it.

Put to put this into perspective I could impulse buy 10 pairs of shoes in one week, put myself into debt and still not regret the purchase hehe :)

xoxo

Another Snap from my Shoe Collection

It's been a while since I posted something from my shoe collection and I can't believe I overlooked these :) These are totally adorable and they make me feel like Carrie from Sex and the City when I wear them for some reason, which is definitely a good thing, atleast for me haha :)

The Friday Five: Feelings

Well as I predicted I forgot all about the Friday Five yesterday, so this is my tardy Friday Five :)

What made you happy this week?
Hmm, I'd have to say the back up from my friends, my Dad coming home, a lovely Perth magazine launch and the pure fact that today is Saturday (although I'm at work for the next 4 and a half hours! :)
What made you sad?
Umm, family arguments but our family arguments only last at the most a day and everything is back to normal :)

What made you angry?
Haha see above, but it was only brief anger :)

What are you looking forward to in the next week?
Hmm, going out with the girls tonight, having the next two days off work, and planning my future I suppose haha :)

What are you not looking forward to?
Haha, planning my future? I suppose that comes under both questions because it's exciting and scary :)
Well as I'm at work that's all I've got for now :)
Over and out

I Can Has Cheezburger .. Dress ?

This is so weird.

I found it on The Fashion Police website. And it's an actual dress. They also have crocheted ice cream dresses and more haha.

Would make a good costume I suppose?

Random Products I Don't Need (But Do)

So, I'm big on random useless housey products.

Useless in the sense that I am back at home with the parents and am about to do the big 'uproot to another country' within the next couple of months.

So adding to the junk I already possess seems stupid right?
Hence their attraction!

Take these for example ..

So cool right, and they're recycled. Not that I'm the greenest person around but it'll make me feel better about the scarecrow I constructed on the beach completely from plastic bags and big rusty fish hooks*.

And these ..

Ok they're specifically called 'vodka glasses'. And I love that for a 'vodka glass' they look kinda huge yea, but get this, they have a rounded bottom, so when they are full of vodka, although I'm assuming you don't HAVE to put vodka in them, like maybe they spontaneously combust if you fill them with gin or something? I should look into that before I make this unnecessary purchase, although then again if we're going with the theme of totally useless I think combusting glasses would be right up my alley! - Wow ok back on track now, sorry about that, when they are full of liquid they sort of wobble a bit, sway i think was the word used on the site! Dancing glasses is how I put it!! Pretty sure I need them.

Find the wine bottle platters at

and the dancing glasses at

xoxo

*Scarecrow made from plastic bags may be the first very environmentally unfriendly thing I could come up with at short notice and might be completely fabricated - but now I can't get the image of this creepy, grey, rustling stick figure on a desserted beach? With weird fish hook facial features? Anyone? I need to get out more.

The Friday Five

Ok I just stumbled across 'The Friday Five' on Forever Amber's blog.
Now obviously I'm not totally deranged, I do realise it's Monday :P
But as I've just discovered it I'm going to cheat and do the Friday just gones questions today, then Friday I will get a new set :)
So here goes ..
1. Could you live without your phone for 1 week for $500?
Absotively. Is anybody offering to take me on with that? Cos I could do with $500 haha :)
2. Whom do you talk to on the phone the most?
Um apart from the general public at work probably Warwick at the moment haha. But it changes a lot, I'm not a big 'caller' I'm a text messager :)
3. Whom do you no longer talk to on the phone but wish you still did?
Hmm, no one really comes to mind :) The people I want to talk to, I do !
4. If you could get ahold of one celebrity phone number, whose digits would you want?
Only one? Hmm damn. This is going to seem like an odd choice but I'm going to pick Eminem. Haha, I was watching an old MTV performance of his today (because I just lead such a gripping life :P) and I've loved him since I was in like Yr. 9. So yea, I'd chew the fat with Eminem :)
5. Do you talk on the phone more or less than you used to?
Um, definitely less than this time last year, the guy that I was dating this time last year was a constant caller! He would call like 5 times a day and then again at night before going to sleep, I swear after about 3 phone calls I've run out of things to say. I'm not interesting enough to sustain 6 phones calls a day!! haha! :)
Well there you go, stay tuned for another entry next Friday!

FIAC Pics

I stumbled across these photos from PARIS 2e, one of the many blogs that I peruse throughout the day.
They're from FIAC

I just love this. I think its fantastic.

And this spider made from a guitar is just cool haha :)

Check the block out at http://cedric-paris2e.blogspot.com/

Cyanide & Happiness

For those of you that have never heard of Cyanide & Happiness it's this twisted comic on the internets that I just love :)

Here are a couple of examples ....

They put a new one up every day pretty much and they're just great! :)

Check them out at explosm.net

xoxo

Gothic Wedding

I came across this pic of Marilyn Manson & Dita Von Teese's wedding.

There is something about this shot that I just love. It's dark and dramatic but sexy and elegant.

I love it, I think she looks just amazing.

xoxo

Moss Ring

No not Kate Moss, moss as in from your garden haha.

I stumbled across this on my travels a while ago and saved the pics to my computer.

It's a ring and you grow moss on it.

And I just can't figure out whether I hate it or love it.

It's definitely innovative but I don't think I would actually wear one haha.

The only reason I would wear one would be to go 'look at my ring, yep, that's moss'

haha :)

xoxo

Annie Leibovitz

I have to share this.

I'm sure most of you have seen these pictures before but I absolutely love these Disney recreations by Annie Leibovitz. They speak for themselves but I've put little captions for anyone that doesn't religiously watch Disney movies over and over again haha :)

So all of you with a life :P
Jennifer Lopez & Marc Antony as Princess Jasmine & Aladdin from Aladdin

Julie Andrews & Abigail Breslin as the Blue Fairy and Fira

Jessica Biel as Pocahontas

Roger Federer as King Arthur

Gisele Bundchen as Wendy, Mikhail Baryshnikov (I love him!!) as Peter Pan & Tina Fey as Tinkerbell

Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella

Rachel Weisz as Snow White (interesting fact: all the animals in this were done with taxidermy apart from the rabbits which are real) :)

Beyonce as Alice in Wonderland, Lyle Lovett as the March Hare and Oliver Platt as the Mad Hatter

Julianne Moore & Michael Phelps, I love this shot!

Whoopi Goldberg as The Genie from Aladdin

Annie Leibovitz is just amazing, one last shot, look at this one of Angelina Jolie

Hot!!

xoxo

Black Suede Pumps

These shoes I love so much that they're actually my second pair of IDENTICAL shoes, I wore the first pair to death!

Because my feet stopped growing so long ago, I find that rather than grow out of shoes I wear out of them haha.

These are black suede platform pumps, they are surprisingly comfortable they look amazing with EVERYTHING and the suede is surprisingly hard wearing :)

See aren't they classic :)

xoxo

Pink & White Checked Heels

These shoes are so old but I absolutely love them.

I have fairly small feet so if I do poke around in shoe sales (which is rare I'm not a fan of sales believe it or not) I generally find something nice :)

They're so cute and summery and quite comfortable they make me feel like a 50s housewife haha :)

xoxo

Chasing Harry Winston

I have just finished reading the new Lauren Weisberger book, Chasing Harry Winston.

I have to say, I absolutely loved it.

I was a bit worried that I wouldn't. I'm a huge fan of your basic chick lit and loved The Devil Wears Prada but this latest book was said to be aimed for an older market, and being the spring chicken that I am I thought maybe it would let me down.

But it absolutely didn't. It's fluffy and mushy and sexy and moves along at a great pace.

The characters were well developed and although it was cliche there were a few moments where the characters didn't do what I expected, which I like.

And best of all I closed the book smiling. That is my ultimate judgement for a book, I closed it with a warm fuzzy feeling and a smile on my face :)

So if you get the chance, read it! :)

My "Dominatrix" Shoes

I went out for dinner in Claremont with some mates one night wearing these shoes and a couple sitting outside on the pavement when we were leaving had apparently been discussing my shoes for a little while and had decided to christen them "dominatrix" shoes.

I think I must have looked a bit offended because they proceeded to tell me that they were the sexiest shoes they'd ever seen.

Random compliments from strangers validates my shoe addiction :)

Well thats how I see it anyway haha .

xoxo

Sparkly Wittners

These shoes are my sparkly Wittners. They are so adorable and they make your feet look really streamlined. Well I think they do anyway :)

I got them in Melbourne to wear to The Phantom of the Opera at The Princess Theatre and people kept staring at my feet :)

They can be a little hard to walk in because of the cut but they are totally worth it!

xoxo

Tuxedo Heels

I absolutely adore these heels!!

I got them from Atlas in Leederville when I was completely broke! I got them to put them away with the minimum deposit haha and I came back the next week to get them. I just couldn't walk out of the shop without them being mine!

And you can see why! Aren't they darling!!

They're pretty high, I adore the red sole (sorry Mr Louboutin!) and they are just heaps of fun to wear :)

xoxo

Black Ankle Booties

Hello! :) I haven't updated in ages I'm very sorry for that but today happens to be my birthday! :)

And I'm at work haha boo!

But I thought I would finally finish posting my shoe collection then I am going to post my fabulous birthday presents! :)

So here are the black ankle booties that I'm actually wearing at work today :) They're fairly comfortable because they're nice and tight around my feet but let me ankles move (although I think if I was going to break an ankle in any shoe it would probably be this one because of that reason haha)
Anyway here they are :)

Soleless shoes!

Check these out!
I spied these on thefashionpolice.net from the Aminaka Wilmont show at London Fashion Week.
There is nothing to like about them, they're seriously impractical, look ridiculously uncomfortable (both of these points I have overlooked in the past to purchase shoes), but the kicker is that they are just hideous! And look at the models toes as she tries to balance!
Ugh I say! Ugh!!

Clutch

Take a looksie at the gorgeous clutch I bought recently :)
It's NineWest it's HUGE (I'm a big bags person), really colourful and gets heaps of comments!

Am taking her out for another spin on the weekend :)

Props to my Buddy

Check out my bestest buddies blog :)
Save it to your favourites and check back often for more posts :P
(Now that puts pressure on him to update with his random thoughts more often)
Haha, only a true friend adds to the stresses of your life by forcing you to take on more than you already do, from the kindness of my heart of course ;)

From Good Deed to Materialistic

Ok, now to digress for my good deed for the day to posting the loves of my life :P

These are verrrry old so you'll have to excuse the marks from being drunkenly stepped on / drunken trekking / wearing them to work etc because I LOVE these and I wear them heaps!

They're really comfortable, heaps of fun and they just make my day a bit brighter! :)

As they are almost falling apart I'm currently on the hunt for another pair of bright yellow heels haha, not an easy feat let me tell you :)
